Hunting and Golfing opportunity





Our local Golf club generates funds by hosting a hunting / golfing weekend every year.
This is our 5th year and might I say, something everyone looks forward to every year.
This year we are upping the number of entrants to 30 people.
Because of Colesberg’s central location it is ideal to host such an event.

Come and join us for some Karoo hospitality. You get to hunt 2 springbuck, play a round of golf, and stand a chance to win some GREAT prizes in the process. This will be an experience you won’t forget.

When: 20 & 21 July 2012

The program:

Thursday 19th: Arrive the night and have a "lekker" get together at the club.


Friday 20th: Hunt - each entrant gets to shoot 2 buck and there are some opportunities to shoot some extra game (for your own account). Get together at the clubhouse…


Saturday 21st: Play a round of golf (IPS) and in the evening we have the HUGE prize giving for the golf and the hunting, followed by our banquet.


Sunday 22nd: Leave for home refreshed after collecting your pre packed meat.


For your entrance fee you get:

All your meals during your stay (7 meals)
2 * buck per person (you get to hunt it yourself) – should you not want to hunt yourself, it can be arranged. The buck are skinned, cleaned, broken and boxed for you to take with.
1 * grade A lamb pre-packed and frozen (Value about R1000)
A round of golf (If you are not a golfer a local club member can be drawn to represent you).
The chance to win GREAT prizes - we have some BIG sponsors for the weekend...
4 days away from the everyday mundane 9-5.
Karoo hospitality and plenty of “kuier”.

The cost is R3500 per person - do the sum, I think you might find this is a bargain for what is on offer
Colesberg is well known for its accommodation and you won’t battle to find suitable, affordable accommodation. Upon booking with us a list of establishments can be issued to you.
