    Default My aresenal!

Not really, though my EDC could be handy if needed in an SD situation, it's more useful for, stuff.

EDC is a CRKT Pazoda. Well priced, thin, and easy to clean with the hollow handle. I really like the large thumbhole, makes for super fast opening, specially after dripping some wax from a citronella candle in there. Nicely shaped to get a good grip, first finger won't slip forward, and thumb has a good, wide and grippy point to help. 6cm Blade, and it fits very well in my change pocket. Edge retention is fair, but I've always got a small Lansky sharpener in my bag of things, so it's never been an issue.

Next up is the old cheap and nasty.

Fixed blade (9cm), get abused fairly often, and always goes along on the boat. I've done everything to it, and the blade suffered badly from a boys weekend of opening cans and generally being used for stuff the softish steel didn't particularly fancy. It's also found it's way into the dishwasher more times than I care to admit, but a R50 re-sharpening (on a R100 knife..) and it's as good as new, and ready for another 6 months of abuse..

Bit of sentimental value on this one, got it from the old man. It's an Inyathi drop point utility, custom made with a Protea wood handle. My go-to camping/braai knife. It feels amazing in my hands, holds an edge well, and is just a thing of beauty. Always a conversation starter!

It came with a really naff sheath, so I had one made by a local fella..
