With regards to civilian disarmament and a ban on handguns: if a government is that paranoid, surely they realize that it would be neigh-on impossible for a coupdetat to be performed with handguns? Banning of handguns does not secure a state, but only turns citizens into softer targets for criminals.

We all know this, anyone with half a brain at their disposal know this, even the most backwoods West-Virginian knows this...so why not the UN or governments? Because they have hidden agendas that I will need a tinfoil hat to tell you about.
