    Default HUNTING IN KZN???

Hi. I am looking to go and do some hunting in the natal area. the species i would like to take are nyala, bushbuck, commen and vaal reedbuck as well as the red and grey duiker. I am planning on taking my family along with me so i am looking for a place that has a fairly good accom as well as child freindly. Also hunting so many animals i am looking for the price not to be tooo steep. does anybody know of a place or can somebody point me out in the right direction.

You are not very likely to find a farm where Vaal Rhebuck (high mountains, open terrain) and red duiker (thick bush) occour on the same property.

There are some farms around Pongola and Jozini Dam that offer all your preferred species except Vaal Rhebuck. Search: Belvedere Game Farm; Esikhotheni, Leeukop. I haven't hunted on any of them but came across them when I was doing research of my own.

    Good luck.

Hi there, Dimitri is 100% correct !! You can definately try www.lowlands.co.za in Estcourt, Natal for Vaal Rhebuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Nyala and common Reedbuck and grey duiker. For red duiker you have to look at the Mkuze area.

Agree with above 2 posts also I take it this is a trophy hunt? Average prices for the species that you have metioned are Nyala +/- R10,000, red duiker +/- R5,000, common reedbuck +/- R3,500, bushbuck +/- R3,5000. I am sure you will get cheaper if you look hard enough.
