    Default Handgun hunting last week

I dropped a nice big warthog pig last week at 25m with my Super Blackhawk mounting an Aimpoint. Single shot to the side of the head just behind the eyes stopped the clock instantly.

However a friend dropped an Impala ram at 150m with his TC 30-30 WITH A HEADSHOT!!!! He claims it was intentional... ;)

    ;D

You have no idea. Have been munching the pig wors for the last month. Had one of the boude last Saturday night as a roast with a bunch of friends. Mmmmmmm...

My staff, who initially went: "We don't eat Pumba/Bambi!" are now committed venison scoffers. We do quite a lot of braais at the offices.

    Where did you go?
Seems the Iestirn Cayp is having a population explosion of these porkies. Farmers are seriously pissed. Or is this supposed to be a secret? (oops!)
I heard that close to 1000 were culled in one month near Shamwari. Thats a lot of bacon..

Nope, sorry. I decided some decades ago never to photograph dead 'things', human or animal.

The animals go straight to my memory and to the plate.

I’m in the same mindset of not posing next to a hunted animal for a picture but now days everybody is asking for it. Where are you located and how active are you in handgun hunting?

If interested please contact me; info@handgunhuntersa.com

I can unfortunately only afford the time to hunt once a year. It's right in the beginning of the season, and for a week or just longer. I've been doing this since the 80's so cumulatively I guess that's a lot of hunting.

I've had my S Blackhawk for 25 years and always devote a day or two of my hunting trip to stalking with the .44.

You still didn’t tell me in which area you live and in which area you hunt?

If your’ interested you could join us on 31 October at Pelindaba for a hunting handgun shoot. It will be great fun and there will be hunting opportunities up for grabs as prises.
