Do anybody have experience with claw bullets? I want to get some for my 9.3X62 for target shooting and practise.
So are these bullet accurate?

Re: Claw bullets
I load Claw bullets in all my guns - 5 diffrent calibres from 6.5 to 458.
I have been involved in game farming, culling and animal control now for more than 20 years - and except for instances where solids are used - use claws.
For hunting they are very good. In fact in terms of value for money I think they are the best buy available.
I have not tried them on serious target shooting (Mainly bacause I dont do that) but accuracy for hunting is more than sufficient.
In 9.3 they make a very good 250gr open tip - Try it.
PS. I have no relation to claw, I am just a very satisfied client.

Re: Claw bullets
Thanks, for the price they seem to be the best option.
I think I will also try the .30 cal range in my 308W.

Re: Claw bullets
Guys Sorry for the late replys - I was out of town for a while and also ended up in hosptal ....
Claw bullets is made by Andre (I think v/d Merwe but I might be wrong.)
His Telephone is 043 736 9519
i normally order COD - but I know that he also allow you to make a internet payment then post the stuff.
I use either 480 gr or 500gr in my 458. I tried his 300gr in a reduced load with s341 but it did not work at all. my shotgun had a smaller spread that that load.

Re: Claw bullets
Interesting enough, is that he was in partnership with his brother making bullets.
They ended up splitting.
He makes Claw bullets, and his brother, Kobus makes Rhino.
As far as I'm aware, both are bonded bullets, but Rhino has the solid shank.
Moeras: are the Claws solid shank as well?A roaring Lion kills no game

Re: Claw bullets
Claw is a bonded bullet and does not have a solid shank, I have no experience with these bullets so I would not be able to comment on accuracy.
Why do you want to use a hunting premier bullet for target / practice shooting?
In my opinion there are cheaper more accurate options available, Hornady and Speer are examples.
