I used to collect Military edged weapons. Still have a bunch, and dug these out to photo document last weekend.

Well used WW2 era Ka-Bar with early stapled sheath

1904 Hospital Bolo. These were issued to field hospitals for clearing brush and chopping down trees. Later given to the U.S. Forrest Service for the same purpose.

Case folding machete. These were issued to aircrews, mostly in the CBI theater. Usually missing the sheetmetal blade guard. Blade locks open with a cool liner lock.

Lets see what you have.

Here are a couple more.

These are 1917 Eddystone (American Enfield) bayonets. The top one is a standard 1917 with the original scabbard, in excellent condition. The scabbard still retains most of the original green paint, and is the correct scabbard with the U.S. Pattern wire hanger, as opposed to the British pattern that use a Frog.

The bottom one is a re-stamped British 1907 blade, fitted to the 1917 handle and muzzle ring. The British proof marks are stamped out. This one is a parade bayonet and is in excellent condition.

Here is a very nice Arisaka bayonet and frog.

The Japanese web gear is very rare as most of it was buried in the jungles of the South Pacific Islands. This frog is in outstanding condition. I have one other that suffers from deterioration, but this one is great. And this bayonet is in excellent condition, too.

The British used this bayonet as the model for the 1907 SMLE bayonet. And the Japanese were the only nation that issued sharpened bayonets.
