Muzzleloader great for hunting bushpig at night, we are a couple of riends doing it atleast once to twice a week, have no problem with my T/C Impact itted with a Leupold 3-9x40 VX1. I do a powder charge of 40 grain sannadex with 240grain Hornady bullets

You all are lucky...can't shoot or hunt here at night. Only exception is coon hunting with hounds and a .22 rifle.

Is that 40gr "volume" as per powder gauge or weighed 40gr...it just seems like a light load...and excuse my ignorance but does it not have the same effect at Nitro powder on a "light" load ie: high pressure?
