OK I understand, the fotos I took is of bad quality so I will have to go back to the policestation and take better fotos. I was in a hurry this morning. So does the manufacterer spell its name out or is their just a stamp in that will identify it ? The original paint is still on and part of the barrel is bare metal. I was explained that back in the days when walking in the bush , it was carried over the shoulder by its barrel and the sweat on the soldiers hands made that the paint came of.

Usually just a stamp, sometimes very small.

    Paint or blueing, Morne?

Maybe this will help. I have a 1945 Fazakerley and it would take a ton of money to pry it away from me (I also have 2000rd of Greek HXP non-corrosive surplus). Beautiful little rifles.

    Hi Morne

Just checking as to whether you still have the rifle or whether it has been sold?

I may be interested but am based in Windhoek.
