Dad, when can go to the range?

Just took my daughters (5 & 9) to the local range.
Used the Ruger 10/22 with a scope & (a butler creek folding stock) & a trigger tougher than an old biltong.
I really thought that it would be to difficuilt to teach them to shoot using the scope (eyerelief etc.) But thought I would let them have a couple of shots anyway......

Couple this with the fact that there was no proper rest so they had to kneel & shoot off the top of the dustbin. I folded the stock so that they could be comfortable & then had the non-shooter cover over their left eye! Supporting the front of the rifle on the top of my fist they held the rifle by the pistol grip & aimed ???? (My little one has to use the index finger of both hands to pull of the shot). Given all these variables the next thing they are hitting 4 plates with 4 shots at about 25 metre's
I am gobsmacked.

I am waiting for my liscence for my Brno & thought I would use that to teach them. No more waiting!

Guys take your kids shooting, they may just surprise you.
(Daaaaad, can we go shooting tommorrow? ;D)
