Default My 44 Magnum license was approved yesterday

I am so excited, cant wait to get my revolver! Will be reloading on thursday night and then take to the range on Saturday.

Will start with mild loads (15gr S265 behind 255gr SWC) and work up until I see the primers start to flatten. I know this is a very mild load, but I would do it this way so that I can get used to the rollie and the recoil etc.

Any other advise you can offer?

    Another thing:
I would like to put on a scope at some time. What can you advise please?
    Thanks!

15gr is very mild. I start getting nervous around 22 grains.

Congrats, they're lekker guns. Mine likes the 300 grain Frontier more than the lighter bullets.

    Ok...

My remark was with my tongue firmly in my cheek, and dripping with sarcasm...

    SV,

I have a bushnell elite 2-6 x 32 on my Redhawk, which I use @2 magnification most of the time. very lekker scope that handles the .44 recoil with ease. Sope mounts I think you will have to drill and tap.

    Regards

    Stefan

Congratz and enjoy. Loaded 22 grains s256 and sort of overdone the crimp on them , lets say an extra heavy crimp was side tracked at the time and didn't notice it, lets put those 50 rounds to the eish, eikona experiance and leave them there ...........
