    Roofers in America are always removing roof flashings, often called pipe jack, from old houses and don't reuse them. The ones they remove from older houses are all pure, sheet lead. The pipe jack is a pre-formed flange placed over a vent pipe to seal the roof around the vent pipe opening. For flat roofs they used to be all lead & weighed 1.4 to 2.2 kg or more.
    So, if you see someone replacing a roof on an old house, ask if you can have the lead.

    I can get nice clean lead from clip on wheel weights for R22/kg
