Retrofitting a Choke
Is there anyway to fit a choke onto a franchi 500 shottie? Is there also a supplier for a uninversal type choke in SA. This is quite new to me so any advide is appreciated...

Re: Retrofitting a Choke
it can be done , but the 500 comes with a modified choke and is adequate enough for most applications. if you set on it go with franchi's franchoke which gives a nice variety of options including a rifled one that improves accuracy for slugs

Re: Retrofitting a Choke
i have come across very clumsy looking ones that are threaded on the outside of the barrel. dont use them as they throw the gun off balance in my opinion.
if you dnt get franchoke then browning or beretta will do nicely
failing the above briley makes nice ones

Re: Retrofitting a Choke
Did some and research and ended bringing a Ploy choke from the US. cant wait to try it out.
I have an account with them so if any one is interested in one let me know....
