As many as you can motivate.

You can't have an R1. It's FA.

IDPA/SADPA will allow you at least 5 with sport applicable endorsement.

As many as you can motivate within the boundaries of your sport.

Remember that certain semi autos (Like the dashprod) might not make it for IPSC but it will make the grade in IDPA. Motivate two in IPSC for the 2 semi auto divisions (show the differences between the two) and then another one for IDPA (like a dashprod).

Obviously you will have to have dedicated status in both but you can motivate more than one. You will just have to sit down and carefully think about how you are going to motivate and assistance in this...you pull the rule book out and show the difference between the two divisions (IPSC) and how each semi auto fits in the division. (hint : for one you need a scope / optical sight and the other you do not.... grn1)

FA = Full Auto. R1's are auto. R2's are semi. As are most FALs. All R1's R2's are FALs but not all FALS are R1's. Semantics, I know. The devil is in the details.

Only found out this morning, been looking for a 308 semi-auto for a while.
Maybe a couple G3's.
