Haha, I found myself waking up this morning, hoping it was Sunday...

Just a heads-up to all the guys going. Looks like there will be major road closures in the area on Sunday due to the Nike Jozi Run.

On Sunday, 7th October 2012 the Nike "We Run" Jozi 10km Street Race will be taking place.

Details of Race are as follows:

Start: Sandton Central, Katherine Street
Ends: Innesfree Park

Road Closures:

M1 Highway: 24h00 on 6th October 2012
Katherine Road Inner Lane: 24h00 6th October 2012
Off Route Road Closures: 06h00 7th October 2012
Security Deployment: 06h00
Road and Lane Clearance after start: 10h00

Athletes:

Arrival times: 07h00 – 08h30
Race Starts: 09h00

Anticipated road interference will end at 12h00. Opening of M1 highway and all other roads after cleaning operations is at 16h00.

Important Notice:

Parking will be available at Sandton City, Sandton Convention Centre, Nelson Mandela Square and Gautrain Station. Participants are encouraged to use the Gautrain services as it is envisaged that there will be an influx of approximately 20000 vehicles into the district on race day.

Absolutely fantastic, after 13 years of owning and shooting handguns I am surprised at just how much I was doing wrong.

The basics like stance and good grip goes a helluva long way in producing good shooting results, I really am amazed.

The trigger exercise was just awesome I always felt I was doing something wrong whith that trigger pull but never knew what it was, well Big T with his average size finger has helped me put my finger on it. I have never felt so empowered and completely forgot what that feeling was like since my first handgun thanks Big T for reviving that good ol feeling.

I would encourage anyone who owns a handgun for defense and has never done any formal training apart from the standard competency training with 10 rounds of .22 don't fool yourself get some proper training.
