    hockey balls work just as well and the balls dont get shred to pieces
    about 20+ hits from a 9mm and 45, with no tearing. it appears the ball just flexes/ricochets out of the way instead.

    Haha... wanted something small... for accuracy practice. Actually held up pretty good. Only a slight crack in the jacket of the GB after about 8 shots. PF ammo doesn't go through the ball, but get lodged inside (energy gets transferred to the GB, since it was not solidly mounted). All 8 bullets are still in the GF... will cut it open at some point to take a look at the bullets (ball, CMJ, RN).

    As an aside, took about 8 shots from 10 metres, and zero hits. Gets too small from that distance *for me*.
