ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - A St. Paul mother and daughter pinned a burglar to the floor of their home and called police, while keeping a pink-stocked gun pointed at their intruder until officers arrived.

"What the hell are you doing in my home?" said 56-year-old Rebecca Larson, when she found suspected burglar Marty Childs inside of her Fremont Street house on the afternoon of Sept. 16.

Larson had been outside washing her car at the time of the burglary, leaving the back door unlocked as her 34-year-old daughter Melissa Hickman slept upstairs. She walked inside to grab something when she saw Childs standing over her purse.

"Here – here's the money," Childs said, holding out a handful of crumpled cash totaling about $8. "Here's your money back. The cops sent me."

Childs pushed Larson and tried to run out of the house, but Larson pushed back and locked the door. She was eventually able to wrestle him to the floor and call for her daughter to come downstairs and bring her gun.
Hickman grabbed her 9mm Taurus handgun with pink grips and entered the kitchen, where her mom and the burglar were in a struggle on the floor.

"You can take this," Childs said, throwing the cash.

Marty Childs was just released from prison for a first-degree burglary conviction on May 21. He has at least nine prior felony convictions for burglary, theft and other charges.

Childs, 52, is charged with two counts of first-degree burglary in this case.

    Psycho just got released... Idiot!

Great spirit from the mom! She even managed to pin the moffie down.

I just love how the US media shove names in their media publications. Even if he is found to be innocent in court, he was wrong enough by just being implicated. Let society shun him. Good call imo.

Now, to just get momma to carry her pink millenium (ewwwe)
