Just bought one yesterday, now to get it licensed. At least I should have the summer to get my loads ready for the next hunting season. I can't wait to try it out.

Why the 200Gr GSC bullets.?
I want to get a .375 Ruger in a Howa 1500, and the 1:12 twist is better suited to 290 Gr GSC.

What is the twist of the Ruger Alaskan?

Hi Guys.
The 200 gr GS customs work great in the 375 Ruger. I also have the Howa.
Load it behind 79 gr S355 for 3060 ft sec.

Took a nice eland cow with it,she didn't go 30 meters.
I use the 270 barnes tsx for the bush and the 200 gr GS customs for plains hunting.
