When does CFR go on Desember holiday, and when do they come back, and start approving licenses?

Im not sure, but i don't think they will close completely. Might just take a bit longer over the holidays. I might be wrong.

Apologies for what I'm going to say next: You mean they are back from their 2011 holiday? I tried google/saps website couldn't find info, suspect a general slow down during school holidays as staff would be less, and a shutdown between Christmas and new year.... just speculation

They might not be doing everything at the speed we want, but they are really not that bad now... Or was i just lucky??

Seems the slowest is the DFO and provincial. The courier or transport time. CFR self is not that slow....

Normal gov departments are shutting down from 20th december to 6th jan, however CFR may decide to have a skeleton team work through the shutdown.

DFO's, provincial dfo's and card printing departments are unknown.

My dad is in the SAPS and they're not alloyed to go on leave in Dec. i'm fairly confident this will go for CFR also

I had a comp approved on 28 December last year, I think they only close for the public holidays.
