    Hi Guys

Im keen to get into sports dedicated again. Last shot this when i was about 10 years old with a .22 pistol.

Is there any clubs in pietermaritzburg that cater for pistol shooting. Im a 26yrs old, Part of community policing used to shoot with saps guys. Looking for a homely club that has a good mentor program as well.

    Hi Wayne

We are a IPSC club with an accredited range. We will be having a club shoot on 12 April and hosting a Kzn League on 19 April. The range is just outside Pmb on the Richmond road.
You are more than welcome to pop along, have a look and meet the guys . I have included some contact numbers if you would like more info

    Hi KK

    It is.

With the threat of closure of the Hammersdale range a few years ago, Peter Mapstone and his cousin gave us permission to develop their land for IPSC use.

A number of 25m ranges have been built to the side of the old range of which 5 are accredited.

Of the old range the first 200m is still in use and has SABS certification. It is still possible to see the 400m marks but I haven't seen anyone shooting that distance in a while.

Unfortunately the silhouette side has all but disappeared as none of the present range users are that active in this discipline.
