    http://afrikaans.news24.com/Suid-Afr...-dood-20121003

Kapt.

Sy medepligtige, ‘n 27-jarige man, is later in Uvongo vasgetrek.

This lady is receiving an almost unbelievable support from the public in the comment section.

Clearly a sign that Joe Public is fed up with the current state of crime affairs.

    You go girl!!

Awesomely well done. Wonder how long till she is arrested for murder (sop) and her husband for not securing his firearm in a safe.

Reading stories like these is good for my health! Just sad that the husband will be in trouble now!

A murder docket is not the same as arrest.

I will bet money hubby doesn't get any shit out of this.

Been thinking about this as well, and was hoping the local legal eagles can comment.... There seems to be a perception that we should have seperate safes with no mutual access and that either party's competency or existing licences are in danger of being revoked should the other one as much turn the key on the "wrong" safe. Within the reasonable trust of a marriage (and for the record, I'm not married so this is all conjecture!) how can this be enforcible? Or then, how can it be argued that I should get in trouble with the law, if my (hypothetical) wife knows where my guns are kept and uses one to defend her own life?

Of course the best situation is having her licensed and armed as well. From what I've read on here (and knowing my girlfriend's inclination for stubbornness) that is not necesserily the easiest argument to get accross...
