Double Action Revolver Sports Shooting

Hello All

The Pretoria Revolver Shooting Club holds a monthly shoot at the Eeufess target shooting range. We have a 90 round course of fire, shot DA only and working from the holster. We also shoot the Pocket and Carry Pistol NPA events. We are affiliated to the N Gauteng Pistol Association and the SA Pistol Association (SAPA), so members can also enter events such as Service and Police Pistol, Stock Semi Auto, the !500, etc.

Saturday afternoons from 1400 hours Long Range. However, the dates vary as we have to fit in with other range bookings for Leagues and Championships. Dates for the rest of the year are: Oct 13th (this Saturday), 17th or 24th Nov (undecided), 8th Dec.

That is this coming Saturday, and we will be shooting Pocket Pistol (or revolver) followed by DA revolver. Start time 1400 hours

You might have a problem with parking, there is a SADPA league shoot at the handgun bays and we are expecting close to 100 shooters.

Would like to come and watch what you guys are doing, though.

Our next shoot is this Saturday the 23rd, commencing at 1400 hours. We will be shooting Carry Gun (30 rounds; rules at http://www.samarksman.co.za/CarryGun.htm ), followed by our 90 round DA revolver course. For the latter you need a holster and two speedloaders. A mat to kneel on for one stage is a good idea.

Our next shoot is on Saturday the 31st at 1400 hours. Pocket Pistol (includes revolvers) (30 rounds; rules at http://www.samarksman.co.za/PocketPistol.htm, but don't worry if your handgun needs a large pocket!) followed by our DA revolver shoot. Any one is welcome to come along, meet us, and watch and/or shoot.

Change of start time for Saturday's shoot. For this month at least we shall have to start at 1200 hours in order to fit in with other users of the range complex. You are still welcome to come and join us!
