Now that I have your attention! ...Mark Adams ex RLI is doing abook launch on his new book : RLI , Africa's Commandos. This will happen on the 30th Oct (Tuesday) , at the Military Museum in JHB . Starting 4.30pm. Be there!!...those that served will know. Anyone is welcome. I am sure there will be a few cold chibulies to be had and some old friend to be met. Look forward to meeting any of you ouens there!

As far as I have read:
"According to Chris Pearce Lieutenant Nigel Henson coined the word. Henson had gone to work in Oman for a couple of years. When he came back someone asked him what the Arabic was for beer. The quick-witted Henson replied, �Chibuli.� It transpired later that he had made the word up but by then it was part of the taal."

ADY , i am sure I can work a plan, PM me with the details you want on the book (and your name and address to send it to) and I will pass on to Mark Adams, then either he or I will make sure you get your copy. I believe they are around R150 a copy.
