    Thanks spiggs, Nice to see collecting along a historical basis. I always assumed that the AR-10 was a modern rechambering of the Ar-15. In 1958 that must have been ahead of the pack? For me SLR's from the 60's were the M-14 and FN.

    Well he lives in the US so cant be to difficult getting one over there.

    I agree, full auto would be pointless, i know they made a version called the hollywood ar10 that had some sort of muzzle system to sort out the muzzleclimb issue, how effective i dont know.
