    Default Why I married my wife :-D

    So I decided that I want to buy a Maverick 88 shotgun. While chatting about this my colleague(whose beretta .22 I am buying) mentioned he has 3 shotguns. 2 semi autos and a pump. So the pump is a Mossberg 5 shot wooden stock pump action. He wants R1k for it. Says it is in good condition. Selling because it is redundant. Checking it out tonight.

    So I phone my wife up and tell her I found her Christmas present already. This shotgun :-P.

    She likes the idea!

    Cannot beat Prodigal's wife. He had his eye on a M&P .40 but when he wanted to pay for it he got informed that it was sold. He was very surprised when it arrived at his local dealer and he had to do the license application. Turns out his wife got it for him as a gift.

    Men normally like guns. I am just chuffed she chose the shotgun over perfume. And no, she ain't a tomboy. She just sees the necessity behind it.

    I had my own theory when reading "why I married my wife" in the erm... "shotgun"-thread posted by a guy with the name "hostage" nogal too!
