Default "Introductions and greetings" - OK, here goes...

    'Allo

New one on this site, been lurking to try and digest, but too much.... VERY NICE SITE!

Relocated to Hartebeespoort area to just over a year now, originally from Lydenburg (MP), where our shooting club died due to local council cancelling club lease, etc (read "politics"). So haven't been shooting for some/long time, but "enlisted" with great group of people under the banner of the Hartebeespoort Practical Shooting Club, and done two shoots with them (between very sh....busy working schedules).

Been "sleeping" whilst searching for a club, and had to hand in 2x 9x19 and a beretta .22 - handed in at a friend's shop (will not give away to SAPS for re-distribution ???). Shooting now with my trusted Colt .45 1911, and waiting for news on renewals (handed applications in Nov 2005, and received competency card during 2007 md217). Also have two hunting rifles (.300 WM and 30-06) and o/u shotgun. Will be applying soon for dedicated sport person, and then the fun can begin.

    CYA!
You want to shoot, shoot! Don't talk!

Welcome BasieB, my in laws stays in Harties and I used to life there for a short while, some of your club members are forum members and are really good guys, Christ has been trying to set up some training at your club, but with his new job they are blocking him from Gunsite, but I have spoken to him yesterday and we are making plans. Enjoy the site and we would love to hear more from you!
