IPSC Rules
Hey,
There is a rule in IPSC that says: "Max. distance of handgun and allied equipment from torso - 50mm".
What does that mean? Does that mean that max size spacer I can use in my holster (the spacer that puts gun further away from my body) is 50mm? Or is this something else?
Thanks.

Yes.
I'm not sure what division you shoot in, but read 5.2.5 and see Apendix E

Re: IPSC Rules
General rule of thumb. When you are wearing your rig, the distance from your body to the gun or mags may not be more than 50mm. You can use the spacers as you wish, just make sure they do not push the gun or mags further out than 50mm.

Re: IPSC Rules
Yip, although you need to take the width (depth?) of your belt into account as well. The equipment (say, the butt\frame of your FA) may not be more than 50mm away from the closest 'fleshy' contact point. (reads skin).
The 50mm includes the holster, spacer and belt etc... so do not assume that your spacer may be 50mm. (Using a 50mm spacer on a CR-Speed setup will result in the frame\FA being in excess of 80mm away from your body.)
