    why not make a diy feather plucker??
    ganna need a spare drill , robber bungi cables( tie down stretchy straps)and an old aluminium pot or soft metal pot and the odd pvc pipe or two.works a charm and plucks a chicken/duck or fowl in a min

    Personally I like the skin, so I'd go with hot water. Wash or soak in hot water, then pluck the feathers.
