    Default Federal 124gr +P+ Hydra-Shok (LEO version) 9x19

Anyone ever come across the 124gr +P+ LEO version Hydra-shok in 9x19?
The one test review I read (ok, tested in water again...) was that is performed very poorly on both penetration (failed to reach 12") and expansion, wasn't much better than its std 124gr cousin.
I know they were available some time ago in S.A.

Yup. I had about 150 of them. IIRC they were packed in 50's. Shot them all out after I became educated on the benefits of sturdy bullet design.

Ever test them for expansion? I hear they're not the best...

IIRC the ones Thorkind tested expanded pretty well. Test results I have seen have shown them to plug badly through clothing.

Same problem with all Hydra shocks really inconsistant results.

Fragmentation was my main concern with the 9x19 Hydra-shoks.

Fragmentation is your friend, esp in water. Would rather have a bullet which fragments in water than one that doesn't.

Cor-Bon makes damn good carry ammo, however my concern with them is sufficient penetration, if the round penetrates to the desired FBI standard of 12" then, perfect.
Must say I really want to get my hands on the 115gr +P DPX, anyone know if Cor-Bon is comming into S.A this year?
