    Default DMG classifier

Im shooting a DMG classifier for rifle at the end of the month at PDPC.

I went through the DMG rulebook as to familiarize myself with the rules etc.
I cant however find what the classifier might entail.

Anyone know what the rifle and/or shottie DMG classifier consists of as I would like to know what to expect.

It is still being worked on. The PDPC rifle classifier will be the first test to see baseline times and if it will work to what is needed. Once it has been run a few times, it will be determined if it is the final classifier. Ross has put a lot of work in for the DMG classifier, but it still needs testing.

Expect a typical classifier type shoot (different requirements/tests that can be set up the same throughout).

Any idea of the general range of shooting.
I know that on a COF 75% must be less than 50, but that it can have shots of up to 200.

I watched Ross and The Boss running a couple of practice rounds. It's the ordinary classifier at twice the ranges. The 'weak hand unsupported' becomes 'weak shoulder'.

As already stated, this whole year will be assembling a dataset so that we can begin to allocate classifications based on a percentage of top man, etc.

And the shotgun classifier? Triple the distance?

Played around with this a few months ago. Brain farts, wrong muscle memory and not having the correct equipment makes it pretty interesting. Note me wanting to insert CZ mag , rifle mag is in butt pocket. NO I'm not posting the rest of the videos!

    +100 what Paul said.
We've run it twice already to "test" it. Seems to be OK.
I'll ask Danie to post it on the SADPA website when he has a chance.

I'm working on the shotty classifier. Not all clubs have the necessary equipment so I'm looking at options.
He is best who is trained in the severest school! Fear no man.

Was thinking(I know, dangerous) should a DMG classifier not incorperate all three guns as this would give a better identification of class.

I mean one can be a cracck shot with rifle and terrible with shottie etc?
