    Default Smith M&P15-22 Queries

I was chatting with my missus about using a M&P15-22 as a baracade firearm.

    The questions are as follows:
    What choice of .22 Ammo?
Could or should you keep the mags loaded, should you unload them often or leave them loaded?
    Suggestions for a suppressor?
    Torch suggestions?
    Anything I'm missing?

I'd rather run a propper rifle. What's wrong with your CAR?Numenor suppressors are excellent. So is their service and backup.

I have tried 9 different brands and velocities and all worked fine.

For the light I would choose only one and that is the Inforce-Mil WML 200 Lumen -it can be mounted 12/3/6/9 O"clock on the rails and is very low profile.

As to keeping mags loaded: I would load 20rnds/mag and keep them loaded.

The CAR is in my safe, my missus owns her own M&P15-22 after I could not pry mine from her hands after letting her shoot it :p
As yet she is without a 223 option. She's a lot more confident with the M&P than her 16Ga Shotgun

I will definitely give Numenor a call

Thanks Khumba for the heads up on the mags and torch (What are the costs on the torch?)

I shall put it on the wish list for sure then!

Any recommendations for ammunition? CCI Stingers, Remington, Winchester?

The Inforce WML will be around R1500 (first shipment has been sold out) - order from Inforce has been invoiced and is in process of being paid , then shipping and customs....

We will get both models WML = std with momentary on/on switch and the HSP model with momentary only.

    Awesome, thanks Khumba

I was thinking about also looking at getting a replacement trigger system for the M&P, have you found cheaper options to the Wilson TTU yet or is that still the best option?
