    Default Girsan Yavuz 16

    Hey.

Does anyone have any info on this pistol, looks very much like a Beretta Clone, this model specifically like the Beretta Centurian compact. Just wondering if anyone has shot one of these, i have seen one in the flesh when Kieth Dyer dropped off the test pistol that he used when he evaluated it for magnum a few months ago, i played with it for a while and it looked pretty solid, also not cheap, think it was around the R6000.00 mark if memory serves, rather buy a Glock or HK USP or dahh a Beretta.

Here is a pic, anyone feel free to comment please, just wondered what u guys think, i must admit the first time i heard of the Glock i was like, hah. that will not last, its a gimmik having a plastic pistol, and now Polymers are my preferance when it comes to carry and maintainance. Likewise with the HS2000 (Springfield XD) also thought it was crap untill the users started commenting and over time it proved itself (still dont like them, but thats just me, i know they are good guns though).

Just wondering if the Girsan will be like that, check out their website

they have a couple of models as well, so they are no 'one model wonder' fly by night either.

please find below a pic of the Yavuz 16

had an opportunity to fire this on a range when working with a Turkish security company in South Asia
was not overly impressed, would rather go with a beretta or taurus if this was my option
I am studying an awesome brand of leg fighting which was inspired by dung beetles and I think my brand of Kraft Manure is superior to all other styles ever invented. Furthermore I challenge all other manurists to a rolling contest where we shall establish whose manure ball is the biggest! I shall call it Honest Kraft Manure and declare it superior to all other brands of manure and will tell you that I have claimed the lineage directly to Imshi the great Dragon Kru Master Beetler who invented manuring, by gathering all manure from different animals together and making it work as the worlds most effective fertilizer. I proved myself by being members of not one but three super elite special gardening departments who were responsible for spreading manure to combat weed infestations!

I would not attempt to bash any products, but if you are looking at a Beretta type pistol then buy a Beretta or Taurus, or even a Z, for serious SD we have proven it countless times that the Beretta type system is not the best out there, no offense to anybody who owns one of these type pistols, but we can state that there are much better systems available on the market, then we get to the point of aftermarket service etc. In my mind it is a matter of copy and paste and outdated system! Yes I know I am harsh but we have the solid proof on systems that work better!

It is Turkish and my experience regarding Turkish firearms is limited to the HATSAN Air Rifle.....crude....no refinement.

The design was good when it first saw the light but it is getting outdated and the more copies you see the lower the quality. Yes, in another topic I am saying that the Beretta can still serve the SAPS but I have my reservations on the origin of this copy.
