    Say what???

That is you , so excuse me for being cynical.

Typically SA - a nice free prize was offered - nobody claimed - so the result is, Gunsite! thank you for nothing and why do you not give us 2 free firearms this year because nobody claimed last year and by the way I am only a member to stand a chance to get a free prize at the end of the year.

Oh yes and what do you say to a free Pajero? No thank you I will rather take a Prado and an off road trailer and while you are at it why not make it a Land Cruiser and an off road caravan?

Is it unreasonable to ask for a re-draw if the end of year prize was not claimed?

Isn't the point of a free rifle to attract new paying members? Or are only ideological members of worth?

The request for a glock 30s and nea 300blk was meant to be a humorous response, not a real request.

Sorry but I do not know how to properly manage the reply on my iPAd.

Imo it is arrogant - but thats just me. And by the way I am not sponsoring the prize nor am I involved in Gunsite admin.

It is a freeby and it could have been a R2000 flash light and imo it would still have been gtg, and no that is not the point imo. The free prize is a freeby and just that.

I was actually referring to the M&P rifle and pistol suggestion. Iro you post and reference I suggest you start using emoticons
I tried to reply in your text for reference purposes.

I quoted and referenced it and you quoted me on that and replied.

Yes you could have used :) or "ha ha" or .....

Remember that your post is 2 dimensional and devoid of emotional extras if you do not add it somehow.

Everyone who didn't win in 2012 still would've received nothing had the prize been claimed. I really don't see how it being claimed or not changes a single thing.

A year end prize is awesome and all that, and it would really tickle my fancy to win it...

But that isn't why I paid my membership. I paid my membership to keep the forum running, so that others have the chance to learn the things that I have learned.

    The end!

(Would still be nice to add a free NEA to my safe though)

    Yip 100% agree.

If there was a ticket one had to buy with your hard earned Rand's in order to enter then a redraw is fair. As the prize is free for us, yet costs the sponsor money I feel that a "you snooze you lose" approach is perfect. I used to sponsor a Hole-in-One at an annual Customer Golf Day, was R 10 000, never had to pay it out and I also did not give everyone 20 chances on the T Box either

I very much doubt that the draw was meant to encourage people to join.

That prize was not claimed. So people complain: what did we gain by this.
Billy the Kid, you started with zip and and you ended with zip: what did you lose by this?
