Adventure trip - Which camcorder?
We are planning a adventure trip (flying, hunting and fishing) later this year to the outskirts of Mozambique (Vilankulos, Beira, Marromeu, Cahora Bassa, Niassa).
We've taken video in the past, with mixed results. This time we want to spend more time getting quality HD footage for our own amateur adventure video.
Currently our arsenal consist of 2x GoPro 2's, 1x GoPro 3, one (maybe 2) Drift HD Ghost and a pair of Canon 550D's. The GoPro and Drift cameras will be mounted on the chopper and used mounted whilst hunting/fishing.
The main concern now is getting a high quality camcorder which do not require an art degree to operate. Had a look at the BlackMagic Cinema Camera, but I'm too uninformed to really make a call yet. Do not really want to spend more than R50k, especially in the light that I will obviously need some lenses and a lot of storage space.
Advice will greatly appreciated.
