Some do by phone, some you have to go in, some come to you...

At Lyttleton SAPS you can go to them (wifes licence case) or they come to you (my licence case)

In my case they chose to see my wife in person, everyone else they phoned. It may differ from DFO to DFO.

    Depends on the DFO

For my licences, he interviewed my wife when he did the safe inspection. For my neighbors license I was phoned.

dude... find out who they want to interview and take them to the cop-shop. let em interview them there.

these dumb incompetencies will just delay your application unnecessarily.

Careful who you chose for them to interview.

I was at my DFO the other day and some old ballie was there for an interview. All I heard him say was. "No I dont think my daughter should have a gun, I dont even have a gun man!"

    NICE DUDE!!! ???

Hopefully they don't take the opinion on gun ownership of the person they interview into consideration. At least they shouldn't. Man if I was that lady I would be pissed off - but chances are she will never know. People love to impose their own will on other people, makes my blood boil.
