    Default Got my Wildebeest

Not sure if this is the right place.

I got my wildebeest last tuesday, my 2nd one in 11years of hunting and my first bull.

    Rifle was .375h&h
Rounds 300g Swift A frame traveling at 2519fps

I'm not scared to admit, but it was a kak shot due to the shakes but the animal went down imediately and a finisher was put in a second or two after the first shot.

First time posting a pic off my cell, hope it works.

Sorry, I'm sure you know what a bull looks like but I'm on the left.

Congrats bud, Wildebeest is great value for money considering the amount of meat you get out of it.

    Hi mokwepa

Congratulations. Glad that you were still successful despite the 'shaky shot.'

Thanks guys. The wildebeest were hunted for free, however it was for a butchery, so unfortunately no meat for me this time.

I am privelaged enought to have a bunch of contacts and inlaws with farms, I can't even remember, wait....I paid for my very first impala.

I will be paying for a gemsbuck later this year, so its goood, but not all good :)
