What I don't underdstand if if he was aware of to put in his words: "I am acutely aware of violent crime being committed by intruders entering homes with a view to commit crime, including violent crime. I have received death threats before. I have also been a victim of violence and of burglaries before. " Why the hell did he sleep with the balcony doors open?

Guy on news24 makes a good point. If Oscar kept his gun under his bed how on earth did he not even check to see if Reeva was in the bed or warn her or ANYTHING when getting the gun? Makes no sense.
