Fact is The Predator got unfriendly service from the first place (and was charged a rip-off price IMO, but he was still willing to pay that if the service was friendly and good).

By the sounds of it it wasn't as much what the first dealer told him that got to him, as it was the way in which he was told.

I can agree with that - gunshops where they treat you like something stuck under one's shoe will never see me again (TacShac excluded, 'cause they know me for what I am! ), even if I drive a little further and/or pay a little more (within reason) to go to one where I am treated as what I am - a customer.

If only more businesses in South Africa would understand that, it would be much nicer to spend one's money.

Given the tone of this thread I'm not entirely convinced that the bad attitude came from the gunshop

sure enought i can assure you the shop was bad.

i was about 5min in the shop with no intent of attitude or disrespect.

but everything that was said could have been prevented on this thread as i over reacted on people's coments as the point was the service of the shop and not that gramer, that shouldn't have been an issue as i was told that i should take more time to wright than just to blobber everything on a post.

I can't judge a shop from 1 incident. I have and give support to local suppliers who are honest and its very easy to single out the bad establishments. My views are based on many shop visits, before I make up my mind that's this is bad service, doing that Is my choice, my wallet speaks. i would not publicly name an establishment without speaking to their management first. Bear in mind everyone has bad days and they do not provide what is expected, guys I support regularly at times forget to call me back, or some mix up occurred. That's life, I like to think we are now friends, and its about building a relationship with the individual and establishment. That said, if they are given an opportunity to make right and they don't, I would not support them.
