BP Competency
Hi guys
My old man has a BP rifle that is just gathering dust. I want to put it to use again. Where can I do the Competency and how long does the whole process take with Comp and permits?
Regards
Eddie

Re: BP Competency
You will have to enroll in a recognise school and do the course , it is not so dificult and will take you approx 3 weeks in which you need to do a writen test and be asses by your instructor .
when receiving your cartificate you need to go and apply at your DFO ,FP taken and so on it took me 2 month until i was inform that it was approved

Re: BP Competency
If you dont own other firearms, you have to get a police clearance 4-6 weeks, then do your muzzleloading competency the law and practical ,then apply for a BP pemit.Flora guns can help you to do the competency and law(writing the tests and shooting practical) in half a day as they have a range on the premises.
