Getting sick of the ethics debate
Can we all please just realise that ethics is a personal thing and stop giving each other shit about our beliefs. It is getting really old and i am finding myself reading less and less hunting posts because of it. I just feel if you have a personal issue with hunting or specifics in hunting or shooting or whatever keep it to yourself in the HUNTING forum. We are starting to become just as intolerant and illogical as GFSA.

Start a calibre debate in the handgun forum. You won't hear about ethics for a while.

Re: Getting sick of the ethics debate
Its unethical to accuse others ethics of being unethical when your own ethics are unethical to those in your view with unethical ethics meaning the unethical hunters and ethicless fishermen who in turn think their ethics are completely ethical compared to your ethical view of your ethics.

Re: Getting sick of the ethics debate
Noted gertjie87.
A brief comment now and then is one thing...a lecture on ethics right in the middle of a discussion on 'The Habits of the African Reedbuck' quite a different one.
Those who feel strongly enough are certainly free to start their own threads wherein a lively discussion on topic can be had by one and all.
But I am starting to see repeated patterns of behaviour here that not only lend nothing to the discussion at hand, but also sometimes act to derail the conversation completely...which is a different thing from 'hijacking' posts.
If it continues, I will simply start deleting posts from those who feel it is their right to k@k in these threads as opposed to adding something of value or asking honest questions without an agenda.Run Fast, Bite Hard!
