Any decent shooting ranges in Cape Town?

Hi guys - anyone know of a decent range in cape town? Most of the places i look up on the internet are closed down,i've been to the taurus range in parow,just off voortrekker road...need a change of scenery.....

Hey, IMO FBGC rocks. But I guess it depends on what you're looking for. Durbanville, Atlantis, and I hear City Guns have something going... all good.

indoors: city guns would be hard to beat;
outdoors: falsebay, hard to beat.

I shot a IPSC national at FBGC. One of the best ranges i have ever shot at.

Best range is my private one on the farm..

But when I'm in Stellenbosch nothing beats False Bay Gun Club. Spectacular setting, nice clean facilities and friendly club members.

As Lian stated: City Guns indoor is brilliant, False Bay GC is definitely my favourite outdoor. Its a bit of a drive for anyone not in Fish Hoek but well worth it.

Bellville Shooting Range is very decent, probably one of the nicest ranges in the country. We have 2x 50m ranges 20 bays each, 3 x 25m ranges 20 bays each. Indoor 10m Airpistol/Rifle Range. With kitchen and braai facilities. ISSF, NPA events, Various training courses offered and tourist shooting experiences catered for.
