I have no experience with those earmuffs but according to this review it uses peak clipping and not compression. http://ingunowners.com/forums/ingo_r...ny_budget.html

I was also looking at those earmuffs but after reading that article and the recent topics posted here I will rather pay more and get the MSA-S0RDIN SUPREME PRO from Hailstorm.

They don't kill the shot (which was my impressions/understanding when I bought them, but they lower the noise to acceptable levels). Haven't tested them at something like a SA Hunters shoot where you have 30 rifles going BOOM nonstop.

Uhm....now I'm confused. Clipping kills the shot, compression brings it down to acceptable levels. Am I getting this wrong?

IE, "kills the shot". Sorry, that's what I meant. It clips all sounds for that instant when peak db exceeds safe db range. Compression tunes down the sound, so you still hear it, but at a safe volume.
