    Thanks for all the feedback guys
    I probably should have stated that the "trimming"
    I'm referring to is so minuscule it could be done with a slide of the knife on each corner.
    Or you could just force it in LOL

    Tested the stand this weekend
    Works great!
    I initially thought I'd have to fill with sand/concrete as you guys suggested but even with the wind blowing and the wifey hitting the wood, the target never fell over.

    True. Won't happen if you use the 60mm blue u-PVC piping. Brand wring drops on and is not so oversize that it causes wobble.
