Default Important - Compensation Court Case - 31 August

    Dear GOSA Supporter

GOSA Committee Members have had many worldwide media opportunities to stand
up for the right to keep and bear arms. We don't just see disarmament as a
local challenge but rather a worldwide attack on the rights of law abiding
    citizens.

Below are some of the many national and international media opportunities we
have appeared on since January 2008 to stand up for your right to own and
    use firearms:

The lawyers are all set for the court hearing.

Gun Owners of South Africa has set the ball rolling for a court case suing
the South African authorities implementing our gun control laws. The legal
team has prepared some very strong stuff about breaches of the National
Constitution. The primary applicants are the Justice Alliance of South
Africa and the False Bay Gun Club.

The big day is Monday 31 August 10 am in the Cape High Court.

Please consider financially helping these applicants. The interests of all
firearms owners are being represented in this case against the SA Government
for not paying compensation to those who have handed in their firearms.
Lets stand together and ease their financial burden by making even a small
    deposit into their attorney's account.

email JASA at jasalaw@mweb.co.za so that your contribution is properly
    recorded by JASA.

I've already given to my local Hunting Association who has a fund going for the lawsuit through SA Hunters.
    Is this the same fund?

MyLani, no it's not the same fund, nor the same case..

This is specifically on grounds of SAPS, and the ministry, failing to pay compensation.

    Both are very important.

Unlike most gun owners, you have already contributed towards fighting the FCA in some way. Thank you.

I've heard SA Hunters is also about to go to court to fight for Compensation.
Also, that the November deadline might be extended to April next year as Jaco Bothma hasn't replied to the Court Ruling.

He was 6 months late in responding to the above JASA case as well.

He's been in court a lot lately.
