    Default Decent good quality back-pack???

Gents I was wondering what backpacks, preferably day packs <60L, you are using or know of that are well designed and sturdy. I have had a look at K-way and first ascend bags and none strike my fancy.

The use will be as a Go-bag, but not in the normal sense, it will double as a short distance (less than 15km) hiking bag so a hydration friendly design is preffered. It basically will compliment my "extended stay box" that stays in the vehicle.
    Thanks

    B.

Source backpacks are just as nice as Camelbak, but significantly cheaper.

Local? I know of only maverick and a gentle man that supplies our local Gun store and then there is our Army surplus store too... Care to educate the uninformed?

I have had a mule for approximately 3 years that I've put it through a lot of abuse riding enduro motorcycles, hiking, caving, cycling and just as a small backpack that I still use everyday and take with me just about everywhere I go.

    Very comfortable, very good quality.

I only understood why someone would pay that much for a backpack after owning one for a while.

Tac shac has some hawg packs in stock. Comes standard with a 3 lt hydration kit. Best of all, it comes with camelbaks guarantee.

Seriously, if your buying it for serious medical work, drop some real change abd buy a Stat-Pack. They are bullet proof and purpose designed for the job.

The agents in south africa are Stat-Tiakeni
