TAD Gear FAST Pack Litespeed - http://www.tripleaughtdesign.com/Equ...Pack-Litespeed
I've used it for the past year now, not everyday day, but on and off as needed. It looks good as new.
I did this review ages ago, can't quite remember what I all said, but I will say that being well built, it is a little on the heavy side.

Re: Decent good quality back-pack???
I use this as a medic pack, among other things.

Re: Decent good quality back-pack???
I'm a career medic, so medic bag wise I'm beyond sorted this pack would be more of a multi-purpose "go-bag" keep a micro survival kit, some rations and my bino's and camera maybe a few other smaller items, as I said its just there to complement my "extended stay" box which has ample equipment and supplies in. My other half has a maverick back pack that carries some odds and ends, thus i dont need much.
PS: DrDave, Stat packs are not really my cup of tea. Dont like their design or layout. Far superior products out there! Thanks for the input none-the-less.

Re: Decent good quality back-pack???
From what you say you want in it I think the camelbak MULE is what you want. I've had one for about 6 months at it served me well, skiing, hunting, walking etc

Re: Decent good quality back-pack???
Have you had a look at the maxpedition range of packs?
Flyye Industries also makes some good quality packs that won’t break the bank.
I have a camelbak HAWG for over 3 yrs now and i must say that it’s a bit on the small side for an over nighter and becomes uncomfortable when fully loaded to the max because the padding on the shoulder straps aren’t that padded, most of the mil packs are meant to be used over body armour that’s why the padding isn’t that great.
Look for something with a decent hip belt as i find it makes a huge difference of spreading the weight evenly.
Some type of plastic stiffener in the pack also makes a huge difference.
