Speed Timer 3000

Hey everyone,
I bought a Speed Timer 3000 and seems it has a fault! Please tell me if I'm stupid.

Please see attachments and have a look at the Time on shot 2

Is there something like a hard reset to fix this or should I return the unit? First time I used it today with brand new battery.

3rd shot photo is 90kb to big to uploadBut its Split: 0.76 and Time: 2.63
