Default So.... What's a good headlamp now days?

Looking at buying a new headlamp for work and play, using a petzl tikka xp at the moment, also have a fenix hp-10 but thats not in daily use I keep it as a back-up type light in a bag. So, any suggestions?

p.s. Needs to be tough, more or less WR, and have flood/spot.

Petzl Myo RXP, flood, spot, boost. http://www.petzl.com/en/outdoor/head...rmance/myo-rxp
I've got the standard XP, not sure if Cape Union or similar have the RXP though.

I use the LEDlenser headlamp and am really impressed! Very bright, can adjust from flood to focussed spot and also brightness can change with a slider on the battery back. And its only R350

Awesome thanks guys, after looking at the link and a few other web sites I reckon I should bring the fenix hp10 out and buy another back up to replace that one, going to check out the led lenser this weekend at Cape union mart, we were issued black diamond head lamps at my previous company, will also look at those!

It is very good. 100 lumen white spot light, 2 lower power white diffused and 2 low power red lights.

I have a few headlamps, one of them is a MYO RXP and its not the best by far.

The best is probably a Zebralight H600 or the smaller H502, depending if you want pure flood or a bit of throw.

+1. I have one and have used it hard for fishing at night, they work and work well. The LED Lenser rechargeable model (will have to check) is also fantastic! Economical on batteries and brighter than my Myo XP.
