Any BSA CF2 owners out there?

Hi guys

I own this 1978 BSA CF2 in .270 WIN. Absolutely love this rifle! Got it from father-in-law.

Anybody else own one? What calibre? What's the story behind yours?

Is that not a BSA Monarch?

Looks like a Monarch. If so I have one in .308WIN and dates back to 1986 the year before BSA stopped manufacturing centrefire rifles.

Hi guys

After looking at many, many pics on the net I'm pretty sure it's a CF2. The bolt on the Monarch is different than that of the CF2.

I could be wrong, but this is the bolt on the CF2 (and on my rifle):

There are also some other small differences... too much detail for now
