Re: Struggling with poor range target holders? My solution.
20130720_112415.jpgHey, I wish I had seen this sooner. Made a 40mm PCV frame and used it today for the first time. I thought it was an original idea :( Joints are taped with insulation tape for easy replacement. Made to size so a black rubbish bag pulls over the top and tape target to it. Feet were weighted with a couple of tires that were lying on the range. The joints will probably wear, but cheap enough to replace. Only problem is the static! It collects dirt like mad.

Re: Struggling with poor range target holders? My solution.
My first attempt for a stand was 1/2" pvc conduit pipe and worked well but for idpa speed drills and letting friends shoot resulted in me building a square tubbing stand with brandering legs and a staple gun. Brandering can take a lot of shots before it dies.
If transport size is an issue you can split your brandering and make use a short piece of square tubing with a stopper in the middle to connect the two pieces.
